When we observe an effect, we naturally try to come to a conclusion about the cause. But, all too often, our ability to discover and collect the information necessary to reach a rational conclusion is hampered by the lack of time and hidden, obfuscated, or flawed data.
So, in the absence of that complete data, we form conclusions based upon the only information we have and, a "conspiracy theorist" is born.
For example, we might see that the UK, in 2022, is experiencing an 8.4% rise in non-SARS-COV-2 deaths for 18-44 years olds, when compared with 2019. Naturally our first reaction is to ask, why? But we are only given three options:
Ignore it, it’s not happening, just trust “The Science” or,
Spend an inordinate amount of time attempting to correlate answers from alternative sources, most of whom have been silenced and attacked. All the while being called a conspiracy theorist and a host of other niceties.
Sound familiar?
But a “Conspiracy Theorist” is simply an individual who is attempting to find causation while being stuck in an informational vacuum. Questions are no longer acceptable; answers are no longer given, or too hard to find.
Now, I do a lot of research as I prepare the weekly episodes of The Rational Apprentice Podcast and very often I come across information, data, and opinions that do not adhere to the “approved narrative”.

We cannot innovate solutions unless we are first willing to discuss the problems. I'd love to hear your opinion. Feel free to comment and add your perspective.
Oops. I state that we are only given three options and then go on to list two. See, flawed data!
